I am an integrative therapist drawing upon two modalities: psychodynamic and person-centred counselling. My practice focuses on providing you with an empathic, collaborative, and authentic space in which you can explore what matters most to you.
I work from a relational approach, which means that trust, authenticity, and connection are at the core of the work we do together. I believe that our experiences in our earliest years have a significant impact on how we relate to others in the present, and by working together, we can uncover how our experiences paved the way for our patterns, behaviours, and beliefs.
Prior to counselling, I worked as a qualified dietitian. This experience has cultivated a particular passion for working in the space where these two worlds collide, including issues such as diet culture, body image, body shame, and challenging relationships with food. I also have experience working with clients around topics such as relationship difficulties, identity, self-esteem, immigration, grief, loss, anxiety, stress and burn-out, depression, and trauma.
